Our men's group meets every other month, usually for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Each fall, we venture on a retreat to a Christian Camp for fellowship, bible study and devotions.
The 2007 Men's retreat to Camp du-Nord, a short 25 miles north of Ely MN, was another great success. 16 men from Zion attended the 4 day retreat in September. Attendees were; Steve Bastable, Bob Bay, Lee Bay, Darv Bethke, Wayne Driver, Jim Hastings, Gary Kerkow, Gary Lauritzen, Pr. Peter Morlock, Peter Overgaard, Pr. Mike Peterson, Bob Peterson, John Peterson, Paul Rignell, Rod Sietsema, Tom Waldren.
All enjoyed the fellowship, the Friday evening Bible Study lead by Pr. Peter Morlock, the Saturday morning bible study led by Pr. Mike Peterson and the Sunday morning service also led by Pr. Mike. Thank-you Pr. Mike and Pr. Peter.
Also, many thanks from all to Lee Bay for
making arrangements and coordinating the event, along with Rod
Sietseman and Darv Bethke for kitchen and other duties while at du-Nord.
